As an LEED Certification in Dubai, Leader in Energy and Environmental Design, or LEED for short, is the world's most popular green building grading system. In addition to providing a framework for environmentally friendly, economically viable, and healthily efficient buildings, LEED encourages resource conservation, energy efficiency, and environmental responsibility. The Canada Green Building Council (CAGBC.Org) oversees LEED in Canada. The United States Green Building Council (USGBC) sponsors the program. In today's environmentally sensitive and ESG-driven society, pursuing LEED accreditation and becoming certified improves a building's or company's reputation. (ESG, or environmental, social, and governance, is a framework for assessing a corporation's ethical and sustainable impact.) LEED accreditation is equally valid whether you own/manage the redesign of an educational building or a commercial retail location. A building project's level of LEED certification is determined by the number of points it receives; there are four certification levels.
